Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Tapestry mobile application (the "App") operated by Rise & Shift ("we", "our", or "us").

By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

Tapestry is a personal productivity and wellbeing application. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App.
• Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of the App without our written permission.
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality.

2. Tapestry Plus subscriptions

2.1 What is included

Tapestry Plus is a paid subscription that unlocks additional features including multiple vision boards, custom affirmations, voice input, text-to-speech affirmations, and an ad-free experience. A full description of current features is available in the App and on our website.

2.2 Pricing and billing

Subscription prices are displayed in the App in your local currency at the time of purchase. Prices may vary by region. Tapestry Plus subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

2.3 Free trials

We may offer free trials for Tapestry Plus. If a trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial to avoid being charged.

2.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings:

• iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Tapestry Plus → Cancel Subscription.
• Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Tapestry → Cancel subscription.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to Plus features until that date.

2.5 Refunds

Subscription payments are processed by Apple or Google under their respective refund policies. We do not have the ability to issue refunds directly. To request a refund, please contact Apple or Google support.

3. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, content, affirmations, and code, is owned by Rise & Shift and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on your personal device in accordance with these Terms.

4. User content

Content you create in Tapestry — including vision board items, photos, and affirmations — is stored locally on your device. We do not claim ownership of your content, and we cannot access it.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you add to the App (including photos) does not infringe the rights of any third party.

5. Disclaimers

Tapestry is a personal wellbeing tool and is provided "as is". We make no warranties, express or implied, about the App's fitness for a particular purpose or its accuracy.

The affirmations provided by Tapestry are for motivational and inspirational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional mental health, medical, or financial advice. If you are experiencing mental health difficulties, please seek support from a qualified professional.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rise & Shift shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for Tapestry Plus in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £10, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Third-party services

The App integrates with third-party services including RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple App Store, Google Play, and Expo. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and policies, which we encourage you to review.

8. Changes to the App and these Terms

We may update the App's features and these Terms at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes (for example, by updating the date at the top of this page or by notifying you in the App). Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

We may add, modify, or remove App features at any time, including features included in Tapestry Plus. We will not remove core Plus features without notice and will offer a proportionate remedy where applicable.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
