Frequently asked questions
Yes — Tapestry is free to download and use. The free version includes 1 vision board, daily affirmations, and morning and weekly notifications. Tapestry Plus is an optional subscription that unlocks extra features like multiple boards, custom affirmations, and voice features.
Tapestry Plus unlocks: up to 10 vision boards, the ability to write your own affirmations, voice input (speak to add affirmations), text-to-speech (listen to affirmations read aloud), an ad-free experience, and custom board themes (coming soon). See the plans page for a full comparison.
Subscriptions are managed by your device's app store, not by us directly.
On iPhone: Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Tapestry Plus → Cancel Subscription.
On Android: Open Google Play → tap your Profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Tapestry → Cancel subscription.
You'll keep Plus access until the end of the current billing period.

Open the App, tap Settings, then tap "Restore purchases". Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you used when you first subscribed.
Check that you've granted notification permission to Tapestry. On iPhone: Settings → Tapestry → Notifications → Allow Notifications. On Android: Settings → Apps → Tapestry → Notifications → enable. Also check that your notification time is set correctly in the App's Settings tab, and that Quiet Hours aren't set to cover your notification time.
Tapestry stores everything locally on your device for privacy. This means your vision board is not backed up to any cloud service. If you delete the App or change devices, your board will not be automatically restored. We're exploring optional local backup features for a future update.
Voice input is a Tapestry Plus feature. Tap the microphone icon on the custom affirmations screen, speak your affirmation, and Tapestry will transcribe it using your device's on-device speech recognition. Nothing is sent to our servers.
On any affirmation card (Tapestry Plus), tap the speaker icon to have the affirmation read aloud using your device's built-in speech engine. This works entirely on-device.
Yes — almost everything in Tapestry works offline. Your vision board, affirmations, and notifications are all stored and scheduled on your device. An internet connection is only required when purchasing or restoring Tapestry Plus.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google — we're unable to process them directly.
